Game of the Year — no "Only on Xbox", right-Warthog disc

The print where three things change at once.

• The yellow "Only on Xbox" line is gone from the front. PriceCharting ties its removal to the PC port, which shipped on 30 September 2003 and made the claim untrue.
• The holographic foil is gone from the covers.
• The disc label changes: the Warthog moves to the right, 0903 Part No. X10-18964. This is the disc Redump marks Rev 2.

Inside: a booklet 0903 Part No. X10-17353 — VGCollect calls this one the misprint booklet, without saying what the misprint is — and a Voodoo Vince insert 0803 Part No. X09-71121.

The box code on this printing is unsettled. VGCollect records 0302 Part No. X10-17293, which cannot be read at face value: the booklet and disc in the same box are dated 0903, and the neighbouring part number X10-17353 is itself a 0903 number, so an X10-17293 box printed in March 2002 would be out of sequence with everything around it. 0903 is the reading recorded here. Either way the position holds — nothing in this box can predate August 2003.

Two open questions sit on this row.

The date code. 0302 is what the catalog says and 0903 is what the rest of the box says. A photograph of the bottom of the back cover decides it.

The misprint booklet. The X10-17353 booklet is catalogued as a misprint and turns up in this print, the 0204 print and the Not for Resale box. What is wrong with it is not recorded anywhere read here, and it may well be a tell worth its own line once somebody photographs it.
