First print — controller misprint, 103423A
Why this is the first print
Three tells, all on the box. Check them in this order.
1. The part code ends in A. On the back it reads 103423A. This is the one tell backed by a published rule: A Few Games' guide to modern Nintendo print variants states that "The revision suffix will always be in order, starting at A (first print), then to B, and so on." Six digits and a letter is exactly the shape that rule describes, so A here means first print by the rule rather than by inference.
2. The satellite code reads 00000. It is a five-digit code printed above the main barcode on the back, with its own small barcode. The last digit is the iteration of the game, so the first print reads 00000 and the second 00001. Do not read the third digit as the country — see the note below.
3. The controller panel on the back is wrong. This is the tell you can see without a loupe. The first print's back cover claims controllers that the game does not support. Reporting from 7 April 2017 named three of them — the Wii Remote, the Wii Remote + Nunchuk, and the Wii Remote + Classic Controller Pro — against the Wii U GamePad and the Wii U Pro Controller, which are the only two that actually work. Collectors, sellers and graders call this the "7 controller" print, and PriceCharting records it as "1st Print shows 7 controllers on the back instead of 2".
Be aware the count and the named controllers do not reconcile: three wrong plus two right is five, not seven. Nobody consulted here lists all seven icons, so treat "more than two controllers on the back" as the reliable form of this tell and the exact seven as unsettled.
What does not help. The UPC is 045496904159 on both prints. The box item number is WUP-P-ALZE-USZ on both. The disc is the same on both — one physical revision exists for the USA release — so a loose disc cannot be placed in the print run at all.
One oddity worth knowing. Both prints read "Made in Japan" on the box, yet both satellite codes carry a third digit of 0, which that same guide says means USA. Wii U-era boxes are known to get this digit wrong; the guide's own "Incorrect Codes" section records the same 00000-with-the-wrong-country fault on Bayonetta 2 and says the publisher repeated it on several games. Read the last digit, ignore the third.

Notes
This is a well-evidenced first print. Three marks agree, two of them are codes recorded independently in a collector database, and one of them follows a published Nintendo rule rather than a community reading.
Rarity is Unknown, and that is a real Unknown rather than a placeholder. The window is narrow and datable — on shelves 3 March 2017, with the correction reported by 7 April 2017, so roughly five weeks — and the Wii U was a discontinued console with a small late-life audience. Both facts point the same way, and neither is a count. Nobody has surveyed how many boxes carry which code, so no rarity is claimed here.
Still wanted: a photograph of the back-cover controller panel with every icon legible, so the seven can be listed or the count corrected, and a shot of the barcode area showing 103423A and 00000 together.
